I am a member of the Board of Trustees for the Y of the Seven Council Fires, a youth and community organization on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota. I have researched and published work around the legacy of colonialism and indigenous sovereignty.

I trained at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and have provided individual & group therapy in private practice & outpatient PHP settings. A former architect, I continue to think creatively about how environment affects us. I have a BA in Psychology from Harvard.

I worked with a client with a long history of "bad experiences" with therapy. He was struggling with high stress at work, anxiety and PTSD but was skeptical that therapy could help. He shared that our work helped him trust again and explore a variety of new supports.
