What has been your favorite place to travel to? Why?
Japan. For as long as I can remember, I have loved Japanese pop culture, art, and food. Traveling to Japan gave me the chance to learn about Japanese culture by immersing myself in it.
What made you want to become a therapist?
Throughout the almost ten years I spent as a nanny, I experienced the complex and nuanced way that family dynamics impact each individual family member's functioning and aspired to support the family unit as a therapist.
What do you wish clients could know about therapy before starting therapy?
It is an organic process where you learn about how and why you do what you do. Therapy should feel like a collaborative space where you feel safe to share yourself with a trusted professional. You should leave session feeling like you learned something new about yourself.
