If you were not a therapist, what other career would you choose?

Jonna

says:

To be honest, I cannot think of another career that would make sense for me! I am not sure I would be quite good at anything else, and I am very grateful to be able to do this meaningful work.

What made you want to become a therapist?

Jonna

says:

Becoming a therapist was an obvious choice for me. My family always joked I was their "Dear Abby"! I have always loved thinking about relationships and the ways that people can grow, change, and thrive, even when faced with difficult and sometimes traumatic events.

How do you see your role as a therapist in your client’s lives?

Jonna

says:

I am always working to make a connection that is collaborative, transparent, genuine, and focused on developing skills and solutions to better manage difficulties.
