What do you wish clients could know about therapy before starting therapy?

That it is not as scary as it might feel. That we are not here to judge you or tell you what to do but more to guide you and cheerlead for you so that you can reach the goals you came to therapy to achieve!

What made you want to become a therapist?

This is a second career for me. I was a massage therapist for 25+ years and volunteered after 9/11/01 down in ground zero. This spawned my interest in pursuing an education in a mental health field. I have been so fortunate to have 2 careers that I LOVE !

How do you spend your free time? / What are you hobbies?

I am an avid walker/hiker and love to be out in nature. I walk every morning an average of about 5 miles and on the weekends tend to do a longer hike. I also love to take day trips to funky towns in upstate NY!
