Well-being takes on many forms. At its core, it focuses on basic self-care and stability. Building from that, it includes emotional wellness within oneself, a sense of mattering, and healthy relationships in one’s life. Well-being allows for goals and growth to be accomplished.
I believe in flexibility as a therapist, and that all people have inherent wisdom and are experts of themselves. Some people respond to a direct approach to bring out this wisdom, and others find it by talking through problems with a listening ear. My job is to be what’s needed.
I love to travel - the opportunity to experience different cultures and people is so rich. My favorite travel experience was in Paris. It’s a beautiful, vibrant city. Not speaking French, I found myself fully present to find ways to communicate. And the croissants were delicious!
